Funny, I don't recall Clemente making thinly veiled accusations that a teammate was a racist. I guess Derek Lowe took his name out of contention for the award too.

Lump is ceretainly the word that comes to mind when describing Mo.

I'd rate him the worst position player signing of all time.

Mo gets a bad rap. He may not have been stellar after he left Boston, but in his two seasons with the Angels before he completely fell apart he went .281/33/108 and .272/36/117. Wasn't worth his money, but he did deliver something of value for two years. He also fetched the club Kevin Appier, who pulled one last good season out of his hat as part of the 2002 Angels World Series winning club.

So how long until we hear that Hancock is just rusty from missing time with his injuries and he's still a key part of the plan for 2006?

Yeah, even if you walk him, you can probably just pick him off anyway.

    Keisler up in the pen.

Capuano flies out. 1 out. At least Hancock could retire him.

It isn't rust, he still looks injured. He probably needs surgury to fix his groin, but his career with the Reds is about over anyway, so I could care less.
