Brewers do not score in the 8th Inning.

Well that sucks. It was the only reason I was still following the game.

With the Spring-Training-Like substitutions today, I'll bet those using scorecards have run out of ink...

Kearns K's. 2 outs. The bat sailed into the stands.

Pena flies out. 14-5 Brewers after 8.

Here's another couple of great quote from that thread:

But Ortiz had more wins, IP, and a better WHIP. He was 15-9 Davis 12-12. I know wins are meaningless in Stat World but they do help in the standings.
I guess bottom line I just don't see how anybody can say that the Brewers rotation, top to bottom, is markedly better than ours is.

An e-mailer just suggested to Marty that Reds should pull Milton from the pitching rotation in September.....(wait for it)......so that we could get a better look at Hancock as a starter.

Standridge in. A new streak might start for one inning.

The commish(a retired HOF sportswriter) of my rotoball league has ranted all year long about how divorced wins are from actual performance. Just last week the league leader in wins was last in ERA.
