That was what I'd like to see Dunn do with 2 strikes. Take that outside pitch to left for a 2B. Nice job.

Might we actually have a game on our hands?

He plays like a tank but it seems that his body just can't keep up with the abuse it takes. I wish he would ratchet it down a little before he hurts one of his teamates as well.

There's a game going on? Nah, they're just teasing us as they ready themselves for their coming 8-run inning...

    Why ask that question?

I'm guessing there's all sorts of pitchers that could put up high 6 ERA's.

I hate to say it, but if we bash Aurilia just because he's a contact hitter, then we're no better than the people like BF who bash Dunn just because he's a three true outcomes hitter.
FwIW I wasn't "bashing" RA I was making an observation about Narrons lineup preferance.

RA is slotting in the Joe Randa RH contact slot, right between the 3 true outcome guys.

Chris just said that the intentional walk to Adam Dunn was the only intentional walk Suppan has given this year.

    Aurilia singles; tie ballgame 5-5.

Runners on first and second; Valentin up (2 outs). Full count. And he strikes out swinging.

    End of five... 5-5.

We could get 10 pitchers who pitched better than Milton this year, and still have the worst pitching ever.

Milton's line this year is not a basis for comparison for improvement.

Walking Dunn to prevent the tying run is against the percentages. Aurilia has a better chance of getting a hit. And Aurilia has the better chance of scoring 2 runs (with a HR or double) than Dunn has (HR only). And Aurilia has the only chance of scoring 3 runs (HR).
