It's been a chore, but I hate it's the last game. There's such a void in my life until Spring Training. Football just doesn't get it for me, especially the NFL.

And as I get sentimental, we continue to lose and I continue to listen (since no one cared enuff to televise it).

    I have a pain fetish...

If the Reds lose today, they ill be 46-46 under Narron, proving that this is all the FO cares about....500 ball.

Just making my presence felt here in our last game thread. It's gonna be a long winter in terms of baseball.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

They're not going to fire O'Brien while the franchise is for sale...and O'Brien is in the last year of his deal.

General consenus is that when the franchise is sold, new ownership will bring in their own GM and Front Office staff. That GM will want to pick a new manager of his own, along with a new coaching staff.

If Narron was fired, O'Brien would be picking a Manager who would, at the very least, last a year or two beyond his tenure as GM ,saddling the next GM with a manager and a salary the team would have to eat.

The F.O. doesn't care about .500 ball, the F.O. cares about status-quo maintenance until a sale is completed.
