Reds against Willis
Dunn 0-7
Kearns 2-11
Freel 4-13
Aurilia 2-13
Larue 3-7
EE 1-2
Hatteberg and Phillips have never faced him.
Yup, and Narron pays a great lip service to defense, but it doesn't ever translate to what he puts on his lineup cards.Originally Posted by PuffyPig

One game isn't gonna stunt his develoment, nor will it hinder the Reds from assessing him long term as a second base answer. If anything it allows the Reds to see him at SS so if Lopez goes down with an injury they have options.

In his mind, it does. He thinks Aurilia is a quality defensive SS.Originally Posted by Puffy

here they are. not so hotOriginally Posted by flyer85
Freel and Larue have had some success at least.
The key today is getting into the pen. Willis throws A LOT of pitches and seems to either go 5 innings or 9. They need to work the count and have him throw around 20 pitches per inning.
I also think BP should be at 2B despite a statue at SS. But moving him to the 2 hole this quick? dunno about that. It took Kearns a while just to move up to 4th from 7th.
