    I'd go further and state that poor hitting was the downfall of Colorado.

    The park hoodwinked Colorado into acquiring sub-optimal offensive players without remembering they still might not be able to outscore the park effect on their pitching at home and who had to still play 81 games on the road.

    No question poor pitching doesn't help..............But, what good pitcher is going to want to pitch in GAB if given the choice........

    Westofyou great point. It all comes down to pitching, look at Dontrelle Willis at GAB. He has had some great outings against a solid Reds offensive line-up over the last few years.

    Yep, and when their numbers looked really good (i.e. Preston Wilson) they thought it was because they were having a good year.
