FWIW, EE's OPS is now up to an even .900 after drawing a walk in his first atbat .267/.389/.511. 8 bb/9 k in 45 atbats.

I thought EE was struggling. That's what Marty tells us.

Honestly, Dunn has always looked completely lost facing Willis. He's played every game, this might have been a good time to give him the day off. Lopez had a better shot at hitting Dontrelle than Dunn.

Phillips maybe shouldn't have had that ball, but he looked clueless as to how to play it.

Re: 4/19 Game Thread - Reds vs Marlins

    Top of 4.

    ---
Robbins retires the Skychiefs in order in the top of the ninth. Rob Stratton K's leading off the bottom of 9. Andy Abad flies out. Brian Buchanan K's as well, and Syracuse ends Louisville's five-game winning streak.
    ---

Cepicky (0-1). Ball's outside. Grounded into right for a base hit. Six safeties for Florida now.

Abercrombie (1-1). Slightly funny joke from Steve about how the Marlins could change the name of their team store to Abercrombie & Fish should Reggie become a star.

He also grounds a base hit through the general region of Brandon Phillips. Sometimes the cockeyed cap restricts vision to one side. Seven hits for Florida.

Willis (1-1). Bunts back to the mound, and Harang deftly nabs Cepicky at third. One out.

Ramirez. Strike one. ABERCROMBIE CAUGHT OFF SECOND! Throw to second, then to third to apply the tag. Will Joe Girardi Abercrombie & *****?

Two outs. Still 0-1 to Hanley. Low. Infield roller barehanded by Aurilia, but no chance. Eight hits.

Uggla (1-2). Strike one. Ball one. Breaking ball hit deep to left-center, and it's gone. A three-run homer, and Florida leads 5-0. Eighty pitches for Aaron.

Cabrera. Ball one. Swing and a miss. 94mph fastball waved at for strike two. Fouled to the screen. Struck him out swinging.

    5-0 Florida after 3.5.

    Cardinals and Houston--"An attractive homestand."

Yes, attractive if you enjoy seeing your home team get pounded.
