Arroyo loves the low strike, low strike, up at the eyes pitch sequence.

It's also the easiest way to strike a human opponent out playing MVP baseball on the PS2.

    Coincidence? I think not.

The best first pitch swinging that he had in the past week was against the Cubs when Dempster was having trouble throwing strikes.

Nice job Rich. Swing at the first pitch(a ball) and flyout.

    Reds better win tonight...

Carlos Villanueva will make his first major league start Wednesday against the Reds.
Villanueva is being picked over Jeremi Gonzalez. It might be his only start before Rick Helling comes off the DL.

Ok, I understand having RA in the lineup most of the time with EE on the dl, but why or why is he batting 4th. Years ago during his hey day in SF, when Victor Conte was a free man that may have made sense, but now in the post-Jason Grimsley era, I don't think it is wise.
    Where we gonna go?

He has pounded lefties this season. But against righties this past weekend...no idea.
