Gotta agree with OBM and others.
Unless its a small part of a bigger move Castro makes zero sense. We already have the all glove no hit guy in house and cheaper(who can actually hit a little). castro brings nothing to the table but misgivings about our new GM's abilities and that pretty much all we have going for us.
Posednik singles to center. 1st and 3rd.
The unfair part about baseball - the bloop hit.

I think it definitely needs to be a setup for a bigger move, or it's another body in an already log-jammed situation.Originally Posted by Marc D

That game wouldn't occur half as well against power pitching or good defense, and thh Reds ain't there yet.
Posednik steals 2nd.
Brandon wore his Air Phillips' today.
The thing is - once EE is back, you'll rarely see Castro. He will languish on the bench except in latter innings for defense.

This is the Reds we are talking about - they always find ways to get crap hitters like Castro in there two times a week.Originally Posted by GAC

Watched game 2 of the 75 WS this morning. If it wasn't for some bad baserunning blunders by the Red Sox, the outcome of that game could have been quite different.

Lopez grounds out to 2nd.
