So, in their last two games, the Tribe have had their catcher drop a popup and eventually lose the game as a result after an improbable comeback. Then tonight. Talk about snakebit.

Sounds like last year's REDS...should we pity them?

Just returned from the beer drinking (as promised during the second inning) and have one thing to say:

Wow...I turned back to the game just to see what was happening. Bases loaded...2 outs...bottom of the 9th. Dunn at the plate. I'll be honest...I thought that this could turn out well, but if it didn't Dunner would never hear the end of it on this board. I was afraid of another let down as they seem to have had several late inning rallys fizzle lateley.

But there it was. A majestic 2nd swing, no doubter, gone, game wining grandslam. I love this game. They were misearable until what, the 7th or 8th inning. 9 runners left stranded but then the magic started happening. Juan "he's old so he must suck" Castro hits a bomb. The Kearns dumps one in the seats. But the Dunn blast...a shot...a no doubter. You felt the energy building and then BLAMO...it's gone. Game over. Here's the pitch..he makes that big swing of his...arms fully extended. The reds are mobing him at home plate. He's got a huge smile on his face. And this one belongs to the Reds!

God I love this game.

Well, I watched the whole game. I laughed, I cried, and at the end I scared the crap out of the dog while going absolutely out of my mind in disbelief, I then rolled my ankle jumping up and down over and over and over again.
