1.Bench semi-young spark plug lead off hitter for scrappy vet...Insert vet in 4-hole. Check

2.Find a seat for Red hot all-star snubbed catcher who provided 67% of our offense yesterday. Check.

3. Tell Wayne to send in change of address cards for one Edwin E so his mail can be forwarded to Louisville. Check.

No way Jerry is this organized. I imagine him coming up with these ideas on the fly and yelling them out to Tom Hume. Hume runs to the dugout phone or the lineup card and looks back at Jerry with an oblivious grin.

I don't argue with results. Jerry has gotten those but his methods drive me insane. RA is a quality utility man and solid citizen but wouldn't be a clean up hitter on my slow pitch softball team. Sorry had to say it.
