Hooray Hatte with an RBI double and now it's 3-2
Yay Ears with an RBI triple and now it's a new ballgame
Way to get the bat on the ball LaRue.....nice job.
Pitch nearly hit him. Blame the idiot who called a squeeze with someone who never bunts.Originally Posted by jimbo

Once again a dead game thread because of the separation of the two boards. I came home hoping to get some talk going, but this is ridiculous. If I ever go up to ORG, I can guarantee I will never leave this board to die and that is a fact.

i am starting to believe that there must be a hidden message in Narron's insistence on using Merker and Weathers. Is is a secret code? Is he just running those guys out there to prove a point? I would suggest perhaps using the pitchers with lowest ERA's in games that are close or tied...
Mercker isn't the problem, Weathers is. Mercker hasn't been that bad other than a couple of outings. The first game in Milwaukee he got beat by an error and a couple of balls that fell in that weren't hit very hard. He's been throwing better lately, probably just getting over being hurt back in May.
Mercker with a good inning. I will give credit when credit is due.

And yeah, I hate the separate game threads. The game threads are my favorite place to post, (and where I get all my pos rep, due to my quick wit ) but now I can't post in a game thread that anybody actually reads. The only reason I wanna get called up to ORG is for the game thread.Originally Posted by flynn78

this has potential to put larue up there with a runner on third again with less than 2 outs....wouldn't that be something to see?
