Certinally not. But people always going to the negative reason first, and always going for a reason that doesn't give the Reds any sort of credit does get very old. Perhaps that was what he was reacting to.

I'm not saying you always do this, but it is a common thread around here. The general idea of "it has to the be other team stinking" or "it's the schedule" or "its a small sample size". I agree that this could be a seminol point in the season if the Reds were to win this series. Not necessarily a sweep, but just two out of three. The Mets are not as good as the Tigers and White Sox (the two best teams we have faced all year). But, they are very, very good nonetheless. The Reds are going to have to get early leads on their starters and put some of that new reflief pitching to work. I am excited about this series.
