His plate discipline and ,dare I say it, propensity to hit in the "clutch" are waaayyyy ahead of what I expected. This year I expected WMP light, but he lays off stuff already that a lot of former Reds still can't(AK, FeLo, WMP). Also you can see he is completely comfortable hitting the ball to right center and right field. Pretty much the things that seem to come much later to most hitters.
I have zero concern about his defense in the long haul. His range and arm are terrific, the footwork will come and eliminate the throwing errors. I still don't neccissarily agree with Kriv on the trade but I could not agree more on what appears to be his making the teams nucleus EE and Dunn.
Pony up the money for Narron's therapy, package LaRue/Aurillia for a pitcher and set this kid free.
