Mr. Hat plays 1st inning clutch. Gotta keep working Roger's pitch count. Great start.

    Phillips grounds out to 2nd.

1-0 Reds going into the Bottom of the 1st.

21 pitches for Clemens in the first inning.

Glad to see the Rockie's cooled down the Cardinals. Win tonight puts us back to 4 games out.

And the Nationals have jumped all over the Giants early. The Reds have an opportunity to get a little more space between them and the rest of the wildcard hopefulls with a win tonight.

GREAT pitching by Harang in that AB to come back from a 3-0 count to get Huff looking at strike 3.

    Reds 1-0 after 1.

    15 pitches for Harang.

    Lead off Double Baby!
"I think everybody here is definitely excited about (Eddie) Guardado. It wasn't a save situation, but when you've lost a couple like we have, it felt like a save situation." -- Reds manager Jerry Narron on using his newly acquired closer Eddie Guardado.

Clayton leads off with a double after a nice at-bat. Let's get some more boys!

Clemens thought he had Clayton K'd on a 1-2 pitch. Very close. Instead, Clayton takes the next pitch to the left field wall for a standup double.

LaRue flies out on the first pitch, 1 out.

I hope the Reds continue to make Clemens work and not start swinging at the first pitch.
