You gotta find a place in this lineup for EE.

Ah, to hell with it. We all know how ludicrous this is. No point in beating a dead horse any further.

Here's to Germano - good luck tonight, guy.

Bobby Abreu is not starting tonight for Philly. No idea what that means.

Maybe EE is still working on his D? The unreliable way he fielded while in at 3B is what has the team playing Aurilia.

Either way, EE earned it and so did Rich.

    Very interesting.

I'll bet you a Hudepohl it means he's headed outta town, and we'll know of the details of the trade before our game comes to conclusion.

Even more interesting is the fact that Jason LaRue is out of the lineup tonight...

I sense a LaRue/Abreu swap. It just makes good sense for both teams.

Yeah, Abreu has struggled against LH this year but he usually never misses a game.

In other news, Ryan Dempster's doing his best to blow the Cubs former 3 run lead in the 9th against the Cards.

    4-2, bases juiced, 2 down.

Ryan Dempster is turning into a pumpkin as we speak...yikes, crisis averted. Cubs win.

19 runs and counting. They also have a guy at 3rd with one out in the 8th.

Three days three saves for Dempster against the Cards. No mean feat.
