Well the 9th inning was the typical way for us to end the series. In pitiful fashion with Griff and Dunn striking out for the 33rd and 34th time in 3 days.....And to think that LA was 4-13 since the All-Star break.

We are doing what amounts to rolling over and playing dead right now. Where is the heart?

That pitch was off the plate and below his knees. It was close...but not a strike.

Reds led for 0.5 innings out of 27 in this series. Just throwing it out there.

Lou would say screw yelling. You'd probably see him going around shoeless from where his cleats were still lodged in some of these players' rear ends from the butt-kicking that he would be handing out.

Re: Tonight's lineup EE at third and Rich at 2nd

As Marty B. said in the 8th or 9th inning (he says it like it is), "This is the home stand from hell".

Even after this 5th straight loss, we ARE going to the playoffs but it will be VIA the division title because we have better ALL AROUND PITCHING within the division. There are too many "wild card teams" that can get hot and will probably win more games than the CENTRAL DIVISON WINNER. In the division we have the slight edge in pitching and just enough hitting. EE will get more playing time (correct Jerry?) and be productive the rest of the way with Griffey and/or Dunn getting hot and carrying us. We can win the division with 86-88 wins. I like the move of Rich A. to second and Scott H. batting 2nd. We all know what has to happen at SS (Brand..........).

When we make the playoffs it will be the roll of the dice. (73 Mets?)

Cards: You guys want the division?

    Reds: Nah, it's cool.
