    Before the inning started, Chris Welsh mentioned that Scott Mathieson had a good fastball (94 mph), not much of a breaking ball, and a so-so changeup. Hmm, who does that sound like? It sounds like Homer Bailey to me. That is exactly why Bailey should not be up yet until he develops those pitches. Sure he might strikeout some players with his high heat, but like Mathieson so far, he will get smacked around.

    Uh, Bailey has a 12-6 curveball and a good change up, he just struggles with his control on them sometimes.

    Ps- his fastball is 96-98.

    Come on Narron, you have to get EZ out of this game while the team still has a chance. This is getting to the point of complete ineptness.

    EZ never should have never started this game. Michalak should have just started and we could have went from there. If Michalak doesnt last 3 innings our bullpen is going to be shot for this whole road trip.
