    that's because he puts the ball in play and goes where the pitch is thrown. Has a great two strike approach as well.
    Don't see that too often anymore where players take a different two strike swing

    Depends on the type of player that they are......guys like Griffey and Howard are not going to change their swing....

    Guys that like to be pests and foul off pitches (Eckstein comes to mind) change their swings dramatically to stay alive in an at bat.......

    And you wouldn't expect guys like dunn and howard to change their swing in almost any situation because they are there to hit the long ball. But I love EE's aproach. You need a good variety in types of hitters and this team definitly has that. If only we could get consistant pitching we'd be solid

    Edwin makes a diving stop on a shot by Rollins.....the throw from his knees is wide and Rollins is credited with a hit.........
