I think it's Ross that has trouble with the throw to home.

And for those that say that Ross has trouble getting in a groove with 3 catchers, they may want to look at his stats. He's about 10 times better this year than ever before.

The problem with getting rid of a catcher now is, it may leave us shorthanded next year. I'm sure they would love to get rid of Larue's salary for next year, so we need to keep Valentin in case we can do that.

Try not to call it "Frisco" when you're there... sure sign of a tourist.

Well, that came from Ross himself when he started hitting again after the long dry spell, so it's horses's mouth information so to speak. And I imagine you're right about which catcher would go, if any. The problem is, we are then left with two catchers who are not world class defenders, not to say that Larue is. I've seen Javy really struggle with, not only throws but catching the ball, too. And you are correct in saying Ross has that "catching" problem, too.

The solution? Find a good young catcher. Easier said than done.

I'm pretty sure that won't be their first clue.

Make sure you take long pants... summer is a diffrent beast in the Bay Area, it gets cold at night... don't forget the long pants and a light jacket or sweatshirt.... repate that mantra and you'll see why.

I watch the Giants almost every night and have noticed most of the fans get pretty bundled up.

Are the SF fans hospitable to visiting fans or should i leave my Reds gear in Reno?

Most Giants fans are cultured, I wouldn't worry about it (and I never did)

If ya like beer there is a great Micro Brewery right outside the park

I never had a problem wearing Reds stuff going to Giants games, but I have had a couple of people say stupid things at A's Games...

Have fun... Looks like I might be there Saturday.

I am looking forward to it and will certainly check out that microbrewery.
