    Edwin Encarnacion 3B
    Adam Dunn LF
    Rich Aurilia SS
    David Ross C

Which means they haven't played agressively in what five years? I really think that if the organization is going to go with this group of players, they need a hot head as manager.
    Where we gonna go?

I prefer Deno over Hollandsworth even if the pitcher is RH.

Aurilia 3 for 25 vs Morris, play Olmedo or Castro.
LaRue 10 for 29 vs Morris
    Phillips is slumping. Try Harris.

Season is over. Let some of the kids play.

    Tomorrow I'd go with:

    Freel
    Deno
    Hatteberg
    Dunn
    Encarnacion
    Valentin
    Phillips or Harris
    Olmedo
    Arroyo

Shake it up. Yeah Bronson can learn to pitch to someone other than Ross, too.

quick question is aurilia signed for next year? I say let him sit if not. EDE can use the break, check to see if Harris is a backup for Ede and if Rey-rey can be a decent 2B/SS fill in. Another question, what's the point of having schoenweis if you don't use him? I ask you Jerry?

I've been saying this all season. We could of gotten Lealand(sp?). He just wanted back into baseball...any team.

If this team completely lays down in September and does not finish at .500 how can John Allen keep Narron?

Let's hope John Allen has no say---its utimately Krivsky's decision.

Let's see the offense without Jr. They seem to play a little better when he's not in there.
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.

No doubt. Two under .500 and slipping proves whatever plan that the brain trust had, it didn't work. In fact it fell on its face. Defend them all you want, but he main goal is winning and we're not doing that and with the present slide, we could drop far down in the standings. As usual. All the many moves did nothing to put this team over the top. It's really depressing right now.

Seeing Bonds hit that HR (which was really uncalled for. In that situation, you do not give him the chance to hurt you) and Griffey having another freak injury was just too much.

I'll follow the Reds until I'm in the grave, but this fan is totally disappointed with our owner, manager, GM, and a lot of the players. Sad, but true. This season, regardless of talent level, could have been really special. It's turned into a nightmare.
