I said I feared what happens to this team if they fall below .500 a while back....well, here we are, unfortunately

I blame Steve Phillips...as soon as he jumped on board, the tailspin started.

This team is playing like there is no sense of urgency....

    Jerry manages the same way.

Bob should bring him in his office, and show him the contract and tell him...."I can rip it up"

This is a homerun or nothing team, the majority of the time, and when you construct a team in that manner, you can expect these kinds of periods. Homeruns are great, but they don't usually happen as often as singles and doubles. You need a mix and some of those guys that can consistently get a hit. The mix just doesn't seem right with this team. Just real sad that this stretch has come after they have hung in there all season.

This team also seems to make big mistakes at inopportune times that seem to always come back and bite them in the behind. Stupid little things that good teams just don't do with any regularity.

With all that said, I have enjoyed following this team this spring and summer and I'll follow them to the very end. They have captivated my attention and it's been fun to not be out of it in June for a change. Get a win tomorrow and youneverknow......................
