Why the Reds couldn't hit this schmuck in SF is beyond comprehension.

He wasn't dealing. You don't "deal" with an 88 MPH fastball--you get by.

in one inning today, he walked four and allowed two hits, but only three runs...he's got us right where he wants us

No matter how you slice it, his curveball was devistating that night.

Through one inning tonight, it hasn't been, thus he got beat around a bit.

it was the curve that night(his curve was rolling a lot in the first inning). Welsh made a semi-lucid comment about how damp and humid it was that night in Frisco, perfect for getting bite on a curve.

A curveball is mostly devastating relative to the FB. The Reds beat themselves that night.

Freel grounds to a drawn in thirdbaseman for the first out of the second.

Morris and Arroyo have been similiar pitchers this year, with similiar DIPS ERA.

Morris has some good games and some bad games.

I'm hoping this is one of his bad games.

Aurilia hits on off the end of the bat on a fly to right to end the inning.

    After 2

    Giants 0
    Reds 3

Yeah, and Morris and Arroyo couldn't pitch in more diametrically opposed home fields viz. the home run ball.

    Morris is a turd.
