    Walk to Dunn

Followed by quick outs from EE, Ross and Phillips.

Could another shutout be on the menu today?

Nah, they seem to be really close to pounding him. Next time through the order, they'll get to him.

At least.....after EE swung at Ball 1 and maybe Ball 2....he tried to go the other way......and Phillips tried that to.

It did not take them almost the whole game to figure that out against another LHP.

This guy throws hard....but as you can see with the Dun AB....he can walk you, if you work him.

Kim's giving up some thunderbolts here in the third. Finley almost had another extra-base hit.

Then he uncorks a wild pitch.

Look, he's a control pitcher. If he doesn't have control, he's going to get whomped. Harder than he already has.

or get a really good pitch to hit if you're patient.

Linden singles with 2 outs and then gets into scoring position with a wild pitch by Woo-Tang Clan. Hillenbrand K's, but reaches to 1B on another wild pitch. Linden goes to third. You just gotta laugh.

...and make that two wild pitches, this one on the now-not-inning-ending strikeout. Although Ross' screwed-up technique reminds me of the beginning of that episode of the Baseball Bunch with Joe Garagiola where he teaches the kids how to block balls in the dirt.

    Nice one, Ross.

Denorfia runs down another thunderbolt to end the inning.

Whew. That could have been a beating.

    2-0 Giants after 2.5.

Defense is not his strong suit by any stretch. He seems to struggle with just about every facet of defense behind the plate.

2 ground balls, 2 fly balls and 5 bullets to the OF so far for Kim.

42 pitches throw through 3 IP. No ER in the 3rd drops his ERA to 15.30
