To use Franklin in this inning is inexcusable.

It's almost like Philly sent Franklin/Cormier to sabotage the Reds, knowing Jerry would be dumb enough to use them in important situations

You know this game aint over yet.. but u've gotta be worried knowing that the bullpen can give up a lead that quick.. so basiclly no matter what we do we can pretty much KNOW right now we better score 4-7 more runs if we want a CHANCE lol

Everyone picking on Franklin and he deserves it. But EE has to make that play. Any good third baseman gets that guy and no runs score.

EE is now better on routine plays, but when he has to throw quickly he almost always makes a bad throw. It's like he throws before he looks at his target. And he still throws sidearm.

With the Reds middle relief, fielders can't give teams extra outs, as EE did there.

There is absolutely no good reason that Ryan Franklin gets brought into the game there. Narron can not say one thing that will excuse him for the stupidity of that move. None.

EE shouldn't have made any play. A hit is a hit, that was one.

Right, but Edwin's error only lead to one run.

A good pitcher gives up just that one run, tops.

As I said, any good third baseman makes that play. There was plenty of time, he just didn't make the throw.

    Ryan Franklin in 2006 ...
    • 4.42 K/9 ... he strikes nobody out.
    • 3.91 BB/9 ... he walks way too many guys.
    • 1.64 HR/9 ... he allows bombs hand over fist.

That's the perfect formula for a bad pitcher, and that's been Ryan Franklin in 2006.
