    Would extra batting practice help???

More time on the golf course to ease his mind might help.

Trading Dunn would be with the purpose of rebuilding and you don't rebuild with a cast of old players. Thats just how I see it.
Why does trading Dunn constitute rebuilding?? Have you watched him the last 2 months... He has been horrendous, and I really hope he improves but I just can't stand this production... Dunn's slump seems very strange to me. He had a .795 and .846 OPS in Aug/Sept last year which isn't great but not as bad as this. So he is probably not tiring. Is he pressing to much with the team in the WC race?

Adam Dunn's most productive season came in 2004, when he posted career highs in batting average (.266), home runs (46), RBI (102), runs (105), hits (151), doubles (34), on base percentage (.388), slugging average (.569) and OPS (.957). I don't see any improvement in Dunn's numbers as he's aged!

I've already read the article and understand what you're saying but regardless of his recent slump Dunn is the most feared hitter on this team. When you trade someone lilke that it usually means rebuilding because that is a lot to replace. Regardless of your feelings on Dunn you have to admit that his production would be difficult to replace without bringing in someone like Vernon Wells or maybe Torii Hunter.

I didn't say he would improve just that he had potential contrasted to Gonzalez who has very little chance of putting up an improved year at 40.

Hey jesusfan it looks like we'll make this gamethread longer than the ORG thread.

I guess the all star posters only come around when things are going good or there is controversy.
