Unmentioned in the current atmosphere is the Reverse Pennant Race!

    Code:
    Team L-W Pct GA
    ---------------------------------------------------
    Kansas City 90-57 .612 --
    Tampa Bay 89-57 .610 0.5
    Chicago Cubs 88-59 .599 2
    Pittsburgh 87-60 .592 3
The Cubs are trying their hardest to make up ground on the Royals and Devil Rays. With some really good players coming out next year (David Price, Andrew Brackman, Matt Wieters, Michael Main, etc), that #1 overall pick could be huge!

    Go Reds!

I totally forgot about this being an afternoon game. I guess I am winding down my season like the Reds are. I suppose Denorfia is persona non grata with this team now. Hopper is now THE man.

Reds don't score in the first. Freel cut down trying to steal to end the inning. Off to great start in this one.

    Freel walks
Hopper bouncs into a fielder's choice
    Hatteberg lines out softly
    Hopper caught stealing

    No score mid 1

leadoff runner gets on base via a walk...next batter then swings at the first pitch for a fielder's choice...later, he gets thrown our trying to steal...this will be an ugly game, i'm sure...

it's what happens when you have guys who shouldn't be on a major league roster and a manager dumb enough to play some of them.
