He's fifth in the league in ERA and tied for third in wins. I know you like to crap on everything, especially everything Krivsky has touched, but you have ZERO ground to stand on here.

Edit: He also leads the league in innings pitched and is eighth in strikeouts. He's tied for third in quality starts and sixth in WHIP. What exactly don't you like about him, other than the fact that he has proven you wrong on the WMP trade?

Must be nice to have 20/20 hindsight for vision.
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.

    Schoeneweis in to pitch.
    Wise in to play left.

    Jones singles
Murton grounds into a 4-6-3 DP.
Pagan strikes out swinging. Reds win 4-0.

Great start by Arroyo. His 14th win of the year.

Yes, but he's playing golf after the game today. Plus he didn't know who was pitching for the Cubs.

Man, Arroyo owns the Scrubbies. Win #73 is in the books, one down, 11 or 12 more to go

With the exception of that manly forearm vein, I agree.

They certainly do. Hey, there is only about 1 really good team in the NL. All the rest, save for the Cubs and Bucs are about the same. If he only pitched against the good teams, he'd only have about 5 starts this year.

One thing I don't understand is how people can say the NL is BAD. If there are a good many teams near .500, the only conclusion one can draw is that there is PARITY in the NL. If you had a league filled with teams like the '27 Yankees you'd have a bunch of .500 clubs. It doesn't mean they are bad.
