Pierre triples but Arroyo gets Theriot to pop out to end the inning. Still 4-0 Cubs mid 4th.

Yea...they just got done explaining to me that having a runner on 3B puts a lot of pressure on the other team. You know...because they can score easier if there's a mistake.

If that qualifies as "talking about the game" no thanks.

Brenly is a class act IMO, he's managed and played on winning teams, he blows the doors off of half of the announcers in the league. Not once did I hear any Wizard of Oz trivia either.

What's the crowd composition like today? In other words, is it a real home game or have Cubs fans overrun the joint?

Facinating discussion about what people will be wearing on the plane ride home right now.

Maybe I'll have to listen to the whole game to decipher all this great baseball information they are going to share with me.

    Hahahahaha

The Reds do what they do best;leave two runners stranded while not scoring. 4-0 Cubs in a real yawner so far.

Oh...at the end of the last inning they explained that this isn't the American league so if they hit for the pitcher we'll have to see someone from the bullpen.

    Good stuff......

Ok next up, lets squable over the color of the seats in the respective stadiums!

There is almost no one at the game today.....with good reason.

    I forgot about Scott madison.....what a hitter.

That last half of the season showed the residue of the first 3-4 years of marge Schott's minor leauge purge of good scouts.

Absolute garbage was brought up when Larkin, Sabo, O'Neill and Davis all went down with injuries.

One hits and no runs for the Reds. Marty drooled over the Castro signing most of that half inning. Thinks it's great. I just don't see it as helping very much at all.
