This is the first time I have been excited for Reds baseball since the west coast trip.

Holy cannoli. I never thought I could be so happy for the Padres.

Maybe God is a Reds fan after all.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Man, why don't the Cards end the season on the road playing LA or San Fran?

So close, but yet so far. I hope Milwaukee has some magic left.

They could end the season playing in S.F. (for a game).

Prior to getting beat up tonight the Brewers were on a 5 game winning streak so at least they are hot right now.

We have to play Pittsburgh which don't look now but they have played really well the last few months.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

If the Reds go into Pittsburgh with a shot, does FSN Ohio add games?

I sort of doubt it. There are a lot of guys that work the games...crew, tv guys, truck guys, etc. I bet some have vacations planned. Maybe ESPN2
