Driving gloves. You get to decide if I'm using the word "driving" as a gerund or a present participle.

If the Mets win, I'm thinking either Delgado or Beltran. It looks like a wash between those two right now, and Beltran's already smacked a two-bagger and has scored the Mets' only run so far tonight.

If the Cardinals win, I think it's Suppan unless this game suddenly starts lighting up the scoreboard and he gets knocked out shortly. Right now that doesn't look like it's going to happen, and he's on pace for his second good start of the series. Pujols has an OPS over 1.000, but MVP voters aren't smart and will look at RBI, meaning his lone RBI thus far won't do him any favors.

Hey Cyclone, go check out my latest post on the thread. I think you'll find it interesting.

The Mets could have really used Floyd there. Chavez is horrible.

The pitch hit him, hence the "hit by pitch."

When's the last time Perez has thrown his fastball?

It's been a steady diet of junkballs this entire inning. Then one fastball.

Chavez can't hit, and now apparently can't field. Inning should be over.

I would pull Perez. PH for him now, especially with rain on the way.
