In June the Cards averaged 4.8 runs per game with an OPS of .751 (compared to 4.85 for the season).
In the playoffs, the Cardinals have averaged 3.9 runs per game, with an OPS of .722.
That "shell" Cards team in June scored at the same pace as the Cards all season, and more than 25% more than the juggernaut you see now.
