    My cousin and I have had spectacular plans thwarted two nights in a row, so we are drinking and watching the game at home. Beer and Scooter and the Tigers. this night is going to be a freaking kick. Especially since I appear to have this thread entirely to myself.

    I'm going to ask something that I think I know the answer to, but what the hey...

    I like him a whole, whole lot, and he's been great for this team and others, but does anybody think that Jim Leyland is just slightly overrated? Even beyond just average levels of commentator fawning?

    I think LaRussa is overrated too. But I hear a lot of people talking about that -- never with Leyland.

    That's the second Jay-Z reference of this series that I remember -- is he actually there? I keep missing him.
