They are not going to risk him re-injuring something early in the season.
Plus when you are 38yrs young injuries have the tendency to linger longer than they did when you were 18

Joel "Guitar Hero" Zumaya has made the trip to Sarasota today, and should make an appearance later...

EE grounds into a force play (nice play by Infante apparently), Hatte out at second, EE at 1b, two outs.

Dunner up...( I presume he filled everyone in over the last few days on the UFC goings on in Columbus...)

Another lucky fan being identified, page 29, complementary something or other with an $80 value from a local Toyota dealership.

And yet another lucky fan, this time for a $20 gift certificate to somewhere or other.

I didnt have any problems, but...it was sore from time to time for several months. I guess that is to be expected. It wasn't bad enough to limit me from doing anything, but soreness was just part of the deal.

I think he'll be fine and ready for opening day. Only time will tell though. Let's just hope for the best.
I broke my wrist in 1984 and cut my cast off early to play baseball. Although I did wear a brace my wrist still hurts from time to time.
School's out. What did you expect?

Inge flares a hit into right in front of a charging Hamilton, one on, one out.

I believe Chris Shelton due up.

Yup, Shelton. For those of you webcasting, Steve Stewart will take and answer e-mails, should you have preguntas for him.

Yeah, that's right, I just went bilingual for a second, try and keep up.

Shelton hammers one to deep right center...home run.

    3-0 lead for Tigers.

Cue someone on here to over-react at some point and express concern over Harang...
