Marty is the expert. His appeal to authority last night was to use the opinion of another "knowledgeable" broadcaster.
To be fair it was Thom that started beating the bat Gonzo 2nd drum last night. Marty just joined the parade.
I have no doubt we will see Gonzo's name in the 2 slot quite a bit this season.

Over the course of the season the offense of Conine/Hatty is likely to be a blackhole for the 1b position. Neither is up to the task to provide the level of offense needed from the primo slugging position on a team that is likely to be offensively challenged.
