Today's game is a "must win" game. Can't risk Hamilton being out there.

The plan may have been for Junior to take today off, thus getting Hamilton a start. Junior may have told Jerry he wanted to play, thus scrapping Hamilton getting a start.

If Junior feels he needs to prove he can play a day game after a night game this could be a very big year for him. We've all seen how he performs with a chip on his shoulder.

With Griffey, Dunn and Valentin in the lineup, Hamilton is the only lefty on the bench. Righties -- Castro, Moeller, Conine. Ugh.

Well, at least there is some power "potential" on the bench from the right side with Ross.

    Prediction:

    Reds win 7-4

Dunn hits HR #3 (a 3 run shot to center)

    EE hits HR #1

    B-Phil goes 3-4

Jr goes 2-4 with a double

The Natural gets his first hit (coming off the bench)

Lohse goes 6 innings, 7 hits, 3 earned, gets the W

    Weathers gets the save
