    Great to see we won.

How did Lohse/Santos look? Did Hamilton play?
Lohse did a great job of getting first pitch strikes and he only walked one. I think he left a few pitches over the plate that could have been hit harder than they were. He gave up 10 hits, but since he only walked one he got away with it.

Santos looked like he's looked all spring.

Hamilton was sick, so sick that Castro pinch hit.

Three year splits as a pinch hitter:

    Castro: .208/.208/.542 (24 at-bats)
    Valentin: .193/.264/.337 (83 at-bats)

Just watched some of the game on comcast, and here are my thoughts:

-Always good to start the year with a series victory, especially vs. a divisonalp opponent, especially against the Cubs.
-I'll take that from Loshe all year.
    -Santos keeps rolling
    -Great 9th from Stormy
-The defense on this team is really improved, even with the Ross and Freel gaffs.
-We all hate the term professional hitter, but that was a profesional hit by Conine.
    -W

Great win. My goal was to win two of three and they did. Good series. The goal should always be to win series.

They all worked fine for me last year! Grrr....
I think you will find that it is a Macromedia Flash Player.

Adobe bought Macromedia a while back.

Is Conine out of everyone's dumpster now?
