Freel will have to set Friday for Josh, because Dunn sees Zembrono(sp?) real well.

Sit Edwin for 2 days of rest... (he needs it)

Play Freel at 3rd and Hamilton in CF.

Freel could play 3rd or second, Hamilton is probably higher on the player chart then either Phillips or EDE at this point. The question is do they want Freel starting on a regular basis.

It happens once in a while, since I've been doing this a few years.

No, that's the worst thing you could do to Edwin after tonight.

He needs to be in the lineup Friday.

Oh come on. Just because Edwin allegedly made one mistake is no reason to keep him out of the next game.

I agree, put him right back in. He's by far the Reds best option at 3B, and putting him back in after this punishment will boost his confidence.

Keeping him out another game would just be rubbing his nose in it, and destroy his confidence. He had enough of that last year, when they were keeping him out early on because of defense. He's worked hard to improve his throwing accuracy; put the kid back in and turn him loose on the Cubs!

If from this point forward I had to pick one of those 3 to build around I pick Hamilton.

    No.

Over Phillips? Maybe. Over Edwin? No chance.

You would rather build your team around a guy after 2 starts, then build the team around Edwin?

    No.

Right now, no. The jury is still out. Not to mention, if Josh still must have a shadow at all times then I am not completely positive the drug problem is over entirely. You'd like to think it was considering this is the best second chance possible in the history of the game. That being said, why would you build a team around someone you pay barely anything. (Still alot to me but in baseball contract terms of course )

However, I think after a year's time, barring injury, you may change your mind. This guy, Hamilton, is the real deal.

    Let's look at this:
He has the best arm on the team.
Has shown the best patience this side of Mr. Hat.
Shown he can take the ball the other way with authority.
Can play each oufield position with ease
    Has above average speed

The reason I'm on the jury that is still out on Hamilton is how he adjusts when other teams get a scouting report on him. If he passes that test, look out!
