Though I'm sure it will be construed as a "punishment" of EE, i think it's more a realization of A. Freel is probably a little bit better 3b than a 2b. B. Phillips is a lot better defensively than EE. C. If Narron's going to move guys around he's going to try and do so with as little disruption as possible to the defense.
(thus we won't see Freel to 2b, Phillips to SS)

Hill last pitched against us in September at Wrigley. He pitched a complete game, 2 hit, shutout, and won 4-0.

Phillips a lot better defensively than EE?

EE has been an absolute beast so far this season at 3B. Every bit as good at his position as B.Phil has been at his.

    I agree.

The Reds are going to be a 'pitching and defense' team with Krisky at the helm. Get used to it.

Has there ever been a leadoff hitter in the history of the game that swings at as many first pitches as Ryan Freel?

Freel popsout on the first pitch...he's not too bright.

My guess - EE has been swinging at a lot of bad pitches so Narron dropped him to 6th. If he gets his head screwed on and becomes more selective at the plate he will be back in the 3-4-5 slots.
