LOVE the Hopper bunt......I know he isn't well thought of in Redszone land.....but I want my lead-off hitter to be able to force his way on.

He should turn that into a "rap." "Get 'em on....(huh-uh, huh-uh)...."

that .333 OBP says he doesnt force his way on nearly enough to be a good lead off hitter

GG makes at least 4-5 major mistakes evert telecast (that I have seen). I just can't believe this guy is a broadcaster.

He's thought of just fine as a backup, it's starting where people start to not like it.

    Yep, right on cue.

One of he many problems with Narron's lineup is with the bunt (which i thought Chris was going to have an orgasm over), it would mean that Phillips would have to bunt to get Hopper over. You really don't want Phillips bunting (or maybe you do after that at-bat), and you need to bat lower in the order, but Narron for whatever reason once again makes no sense.

He is still pretty new......if he can bunt like he just did, he will do fine with his OBP.

    I like our lineup.

    I like theirs better.

But, I like our lineup. We should get 5-7 runs tonight with that lineup.

The fact that a team will give Hopper a lot of ABs just speaks to being a really bad team. He had his hot streak, feel lucky it came at the right time and put him back inside the glass.

Agreed. He makes the older, more expensive and more tradeable Ryan Freel expendable in my book(once he gets farney back in his house and settled down that is).

I like Hopper as the 4th OF on this team and starting once maybe twice a week.
