It was good to see that Homer didn't just hit the showers and then stay in the clubhouse. He was in the dugout intently watching the rest of the game. They even showed him have what looked like an in depth baseball discussion with Belisle.
The fact that he stuck around speaks to his level of maturity, I think. Nice to see him taking Yogi to heart in that "You can observe a lot just by watching."
