    I think that Livingston has definitely earned another look. He may not have the best stuff, but he's got guts. And sometimes guts is enough!

    This isn't a shot at anybody, it's a fact. It's becoming evident what he is...not an every day player, and a player with poor instincts. A player who hustles.....which is great, but doesn't use his head, and doesn't change his approach to improve that....a player that for every spectacular play has 2 or 3 mishaps that hurt the team more than help the team.

    He's a guy you like to have on your team, and can help a team, just not in the role the Reds think he should be in.

    That's the perfect analysis of Ryan Freel. He's basically a good utulity player who can play 3 or 4 games a week. If he plays more than that he can hurt you.
