Franco was born on August 23rd, 1958 and played his first full season in the majors in 1982.
25 years in the major leagues and he'll be 49 in late August. He played last year and batted .273. Actually, a pretty impressive feat. He hasn't batted less than .273 since an injury plagued season in the late 90's. He has a career batting average of .298.
