Duped is in the eye of the beholder. Considering the amount of money those guys are making and the extension Kearns signed with Washington coupled with their crapulant performances this year I'd say it looks like a wash.

The real winner of "The Trade" is the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
In the end, they're a better team than the Reds, with a much more interesting set of pitchers around their rosters.
