    I'm baffled. That lineup really had no business winning. Even Majewski pitched about as well as could be expected.

    Doesn't make a lick of sense to me, but I like it.

    Ultimately, winning ball clubs have depth enough that any player called on can get the job done. I know that's not exactly what happened last night (Cantu and Ellison as I recall didn't have big nights), this club now is finally performing as I had thought they would this season - being reasonably competitive, having chances in games.

    It was a fun game to watch and a great game to win. And the night at the ballpark was far more pleasant than I had anticipated.
