Only home run #8 given up by Harang in his past 3 starts.

Just when I thought Juan Castro was finally gone he returns in the outfield with his name spelled "Ellison".

While I appreciate a 9-pitch AB, it was like 8 of them were just postponing the inevitable.

Even big, ape-like work horses make mistakes and get slowed down by the heat.

NOTE: I would give about anything to have four other ape-like horses in the starting lineup, and a couple of more in the pen. I am simply baffled at how Harang is seemingly ignored by the rest of the media when it comes to today's top pitchers.
He is this age's Mario Soto.

The 9th home run given up by Harang in his past 3 games gives the Marlins a 3-2 lead.

How many pitches is Harrang up to?

Cause it's time for the nightly "stick with him, go to the pen" decision.

    90 after 6.

I keep him in for one more with a short leash.

    Agreed.

It's hot as hadees out there. That 90 pitches has to be more like 110 IMO.

Anyone else notice that if Phillips hits a homer his immediately following at bats he gets overly aggressive? I hope this would diminish with experience and maturity.

Harang at 100 pitches after 7. Keep him in?

He is the 5th batter due up to bat, if two runners get on, Harang is pulled, otherwise, he goes back in.
