Is there some internal rule about not making defensive moves late in close games? Dunn's bat was still needed abviously, but would it be any less effective if say he were moved to first base an inning before the bad throw?Would be nice if Adam Dunn could not bobble balls and throw them in to the stands also
Hes so awful at D he is unable to play 1st. Yea I am going to get harped on for pointing out Dunn screw ups because this board flat out loves him but he very likely could have cost us the 2nd game tonight with 2 simple plays.
His throw from the field on the triple cost us game two. I love Adam Dunn, but I cringe every time a ball goes his way in the outfield.
I dont know what the heck kind of throw that was that but even if Sanchez is going to safe you have to make it close. Its as if he picked the ball up and just threw it with his eyes closed.
I have been a supporter of Majewski's, so I will admit I was disappointed that he and Bray did not do well in the nightcap. it happens to every reliever, though.
