    '00 an 82 point difference.

    '01 a 48 point difference.

    '02 a 44 point difference.

For those first 5 years, he was easy to get out when he faced a Left-hander.

You can't bring in a specialist to pitch to Kepp as he hits both lefties and righties equally.

I like his consistency. Casey was consistent, but consistently worse vs lefties.
Rob Neyer: "Any writer who says he'd be a better manager than the worst manager is either 1) lying (i.e. 'using poetic license') or 2) patently delusional. Which isn't to say managers don't do stupid things that you or I wouldn't."

Are you saying it takes playing time to learn to hit? ie Hamliton?

I was merely pointing out that Keppinger, likely at best a .800 OPS firstbaeman, simply doesn't hit well enough to play firstbase on a regular basis. Something we found out with Casey.

Posters complain about Gonzalez' hitting and he's around .800 with decent fielding.

    Keppinger won't hit .350 forever.
