Reds could really get a big advantage for tomorrow if they can get Wainwright on the ropes here. 7 bully innings yesterday, Wainwright at 60 pitches already in the 3rd.

I'm surprised Edmonds didn't dive for that one...and of course doing a summersault in the process...

Did anyone see the replay on FSN that showed Dunn getting hit by a pitch in his first at bat tonight, but the ump didn't give him first?

    oh that just figures...
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Six baserunners in three innings. Typical Adam Wainwright. He doesn't impress me at all. I see his ceiling as a 4th starter.

And TLR didn't pull his pitcher out of the game??

I don't know why, but David Eckstein bugs me.

I would love to have Wainwright in the Cincy rotation. Just turned 26, ERA at 3.86 after it being over 5 in early June.

Yeah, I would like to have him as my 4th or 5th starter. He's fine back there but he's no where near a No. 1 or 2 starter.

    Harang
    Arroyo
    Wainwright

That wouldn't be a bad start...

Time will tell, but he's been pitching like a #1 since the ASB.

Only nine starts. Matt Belisle pitched like a no. 1 or 2 in April. Pitchers go on hot streaks.
