What I like about Votto , Hamilton and Bruce is they all have power to all fields . They can go yard going with a pitch , none of the 3 are dead pull hitters. Watched Votto homer to left in Indy on July 4th and hit another off the wall in left.
The amazing thing about Votto's Hr is that the pitch (a change up?) was low and a bit inside. It wa sa good pitch. He golfed it out of the park to CF!!!
Everything about that is correct except it wasn't off the batter's eye. It landed on the grass to the right.

Maybe it's the TV feed but, when Joey hit that ball there was no sound----usually when that happens it means the ball was perfectly struck. The results would also indicate that.
